Corbett Exchange Scholars Program

The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program helps students from UW, UVic, and UBC build an understanding of and appreciation for the relationship between the United States and Canada, and the unique shared values of the Pacific Northwest region.

The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program helps students from UW, UVic, and UBC build an understanding of and appreciation for the relationship between the United States and Canada, and the unique shared values of the Pacific Northwest region.

Corbett Exchange Scholars Program

The Corbett Exchange is intended to build a community of students committed to strengthening mutual understanding of Canada and the US in the Pacific Northwest. Undergraduate and graduate students from any field of study are welcome to participate in the exchange program.

Students from the University of Washington will receive $10,000 to spend an academic year at either the University of British Columbia (UBC) or the University of Victoria (UVic).

Students from UBC and UVic will receive $12,000 to attend the University of Washington for an academic year.

Note about study abroad and COVID-19: While in-person exchanges are currently restricted, we are accepting applications for 2021-2022 as usual. If in-person exchange does not resume during the next academic year, we are pleased to offer a virtual exchange with an accompanying award of $2,000.
