About

My name is Rachel Lucas (she/her) and I’m currently a third-year psychology major at the University of British Columbia. I grew up in Richmond, B.C. and my passions outside of school include baking, cooking, and hiking. I have visited Seattle before but I’m excited to explore the city even more. I’m looking forward to making long-term friendships with UW students and learning more about the Seattle culture and community. I would like to take courses focused on American society and current mental health initiatives to gain insight on the similarities and differences between our two countries.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Corbett Exchange Program, and look forward to joining the Husky family in the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program Fund provides an opportunity for undergraduate students at the University of Washington to spend two semesters at the University of British Columbia or University of Victoria; and for students from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria to spend three quarters at the University of Washington.
