About

I, T. Andre Mintz (he/him) am a junior at the Bothell campus of UW.  I plan to become a household name fantasy author one day, which puts me about the business of writing worlds into being, and all that entails.  The arts programs at the University of British Colombia are globally ranked, the college itself is beautiful, and I’d be hard-pressed to think of somewhere I’d rather go.  I also plan to live in Canada one day, and I want to find ways to bridge my American connections with the ones I’ll cultivate then and there.  When I look to get published – when I work in publishing – I want that experience to be holistic, and I want it to inspire cooperation and hope.  I have high hopes for the Corbett program and the breadth of its palpable financial incentive.  I have high hopes for the worlds I write into being, and all that entails.  I remain vigorously excited for the next step in my education.

The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program Fund provides an opportunity for undergraduate students at the University of Washington to spend two semesters at the University of British Columbia or University of Victoria; and for students from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria to spend three quarters at the University of Washington.
