Masters of Urban Planning, University of Washington, 2020-2021 Corbett Recipient

About

I am a first-generation immigrant and a first-year Masters of Urban Planning candidate at the University of Washington. Within the program, my emphasis is on environmental planning and urban design. I am excited to have been accepted into the Corbett Exchange Scholars Program where I hope to explore the unique threads that tie our region together. I am particularly eager to compare planning and design policies and how they translate to built environments between Washington and British Columbia. Of course, I am also happy to meet and work alongside this year’s incredible cohort of scholars.

The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program Fund provides an opportunity for undergraduate students at the University of Washington to spend two semesters at the University of British Columbia or University of Victoria; and for students from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria to spend three quarters at the University of Washington.
