“My name is Isabel, and I am currently studying Finance, Marketing, and International Business at the University of Washington. I am excited to be studying abroad at the University of British Columbia, where I hope to take on new academic experiences, learning alongside students from various backgrounds/cultures. As a native Seattleite, I have always taken road trips to Vancouver during long weekends, so Canada has long been a part of my childhood. Therefore, from this program, I am looking forward to embracing my familiarity with Vancouver, while learning more about the things I do not know yet. Through observation, adaptation, and education, I am excited to gain a broader perspective of the people, businesses, and values of the city.”
