About

My name is Grace Martindale, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in Social Sciences at the University of Victoria. I was born and raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Living close to the Canada-U.S border, I have always been fascinated by the political, economic, and cultural dynamics shaping the two nations’ unique relationship.

I have visited Seattle many times and am very grateful to have the opportunity to live in the amazing city and experience a different culture. I am excited to immerse myself in a new academic environment at the University of Washington for the 2023-2024 academic year and live in the United States.

The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program Fund provides an opportunity for undergraduate students at the University of Washington to spend two semesters at the University of British Columbia or University of Victoria; and for students from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria to spend three quarters at the University of Washington.
