Course Title: The Argument as a Rhetorical Form
Description: This is a composition course designed to develop the student’s ability to write sound and cogent arguments in several academic disciplines. Course work focuses on strategies for developing convincing evidence, with emphasis on critical thinking and library research skills. Students write Western-style rhetorical arguments about Chinese visual and rhetorical arguments, from the government’s and from anti-government protestors’ perspectives.
