Description: This course explores the socio-historical experiences of Asian American groups. Students investigate the history of Asian immigration to the United States, discriminatory and anti-Asian legislation, factors influencing social inequality amongst Asian American ethnic groups, issues of race, class, gender, and family, and contemporary sociological issues of Asian Americans.
