Zehra Khan

Zehra Khan (she/they) completed her Bachelor’s in Fine Art from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in her hometown, Karachi, Pakistan. During the degree, she collected oral history and material memory from the survivors of the Partition of Pakistan, 1971. At UW, she is the recipient of the Top Scholar Fellowship and will be focusing on issues of conflict, refugeeism, migration and border control. Outside of her academic interests, she writes historical and contemporary fiction and is, by training, a printmaker.
