Susmita Rishi

Susmita received a Ph.D in 2017 from the Interdisciplinary program in Urban Design and Planning in the College of Built Environments, (M.Arch, Urban & Community Design, Penn State; B.Arch, CCA, PU). She was the Hall-Ammerer WRF Fellow 2011-12.

Her research interests include Cities, Citizenship and Democracy, South Asian Urbanism, Spatial expressions of non-dominant citizenships, Social Justice and the City, Growth in Modernist Cities in postmodern era.

Susmita is now an assistant professor of housing at Kansas State University.
