Nathan Mark

Nathan Mark is an uprooted Midwesterner who is beginning his first year of graduate work at UW after finishing his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in the heart of Kansas City, MO. His research interests revolve around militant groups on either side of the Durand Line, relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as the nascent resistance to Taliban rule in Afghanistan, highlighted by the National Resistance Front situated in the Panjshir Valley.
