Nastasia is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies. Her research is positioned at the intersection of feminist studies, the political economy of development, and multispecies studies, and explores wildlife tourism in a tiger reserve in central India. She holds a Master of Arts in Feminist Studies from the University of Washington, for which she was awarded a Distinguished Thesis Award from the Graduate School. Nastasia holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Services from Georgetown University.
