Jennifer received her BA in Psychology and Linguistics from Stony Brook University. She is currently working toward an MA in International Studies and an MPH with a concentration in Global Health. Her research is on forced displacement and health policy in humanitarian settings, and her languages of interest are Bengali and Hindi. Receiving a FLAS fellowship has given her the opportunity to pursue research on the health of refugee populations in South Asia.
