Farah (she/her) is a South Asia Center, 2020-2021 FLAS Fellow. She is a second-year Master of Public Health student in the Global Health track. Her current research focuses on the mental health impact of islamophobia on South Asian communities in North America. Her other research interests include trauma and resilience-building, migration, and gender-based violence. She will be utilizing the FLAS to expand her Urdu language skills and deepen her analysis of the impact of colonization on South Asia.
