Elle Armstrong (She/They) is a dual-degree graduate student at the University of Washington, pursuing an M.A. in International Studies and a Master of Public Administration. She holds a B.A. in Disability Studies from UW, where she began developing her focus on disability justice and global development policy. Her current research examines how state and international development frameworks influence accessibility, inclusion, and the lived experiences of disabled communities and refugees in South Asia. Elle is a recipient of a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship for Persian language study and plans to apply her training toward a career in international policy and disability advocacy.
