Elizabeth Purdy
About
Elizabeth Purdy is an undergraduate student at the School of Social Work who is interested in working with refugee and immigrant communities, especially the ethnically Nepali community from Bhutan. She received the FLAS Fellowship to study intermediate Nepali in Kathmandu last summer, and is a current FLAS Fellow for Hindi. She also spent a year and a half teaching English in the beautiful hills of Darjeeling District, India.
