PhD Asian Languages and Literature – South Asia (MA Asian Languages & Literature, University of Washington 2014; BA Hindi and Music, School of Oriental and African Studies). Research Interests: Bhakti devotional history and literature; Hindi poetry; Maithili literature; Vaiṣṇavism; Hinduism; Persian historical texts Current Projects: an analytical study of the Kīrttilatā, a 15th century Avahaṭṭha text by Vidyāpati from Mithila; Maithili drama from the 14th through 17th centuries.
