Abhinandan Basak

South Asia Center FLAS Fellow, Academic Year 2024-25 (Bangla)

Currently entering my second year of mechanical engineering at the University of Washington, I am interested most in learning more about robotics and passionate about increasing my awareness of global perspectives through language study. My pursuit of this foreign language fellowship is driven by my understanding of how important diverse viewpoints are and enhancing my ability to facilitate cross-cultural communication. In addition to my academic interests, I volunteer with Bhindeshi, a South Asian cultural organization, where I contribute to fostering cultural exchange and community engagement.
