Travis Nelson

About
Travis Nelson is a PhD candidate in political science at the University of Washington, and a graduate fellow in international security at the University of Washington International Security Colloquium (UWISC). Travis’s research interests include international relations, political psychology, and political economy, focusing specifically on financial crises and their effects on individual preference formation.
Travis has earned an MA in political science (international relations and methodology) from the University of Washington, an MA (international politics and Europe) at the University of Warwick in Great Britain, and a BA (international finance and government) at California State University Monterey Bay. Travis also spent a year studying in Florence, Italy where he studied both the Italian language and Italian/European politics.
