The South Asia Center in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington invites applications for the MA in South Asia Studies program. Located in beautiful Seattle, the University of Washington is one of the premier intellectual and pedagogical hubs for the study of South Asia in North America.

Interested in Global Health? Going to Law School? We offer concurrent degrees with six professional programs: Public Affairs, Business Administration, Law, Forest Resources, Marine Affairs, and Public Health.
Language courses in Bangla, Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit, and Urdu.
Generous funding available:
Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships ($18,000 tuition + $20,000 living stipend, available to US citizens and permanent residents)
Frank F. Conlon South Asia Fellowship (approx. $9,000 stipend, available to US and international students)
