Assistant professor of anthropology and South Asia Center affiliate Radhika Govindrajan published a book last month through the University of Chicago Press. Titled Animal Intimacies: Interspecies Relatedness in India’s Central Himalayas, the book has already received critical acclaim, winning the Edward Cameron Dimock Jr. Prize in the Indian Humanities from the American Institute of Indian Studies.
