The University of Washington’s own Anthony Geist, Professor of Spanish and Comparative Literature and Executive Director of the León Center, has received the honor of being knighted and inducted into the Order of Isabel la Católica! The Order, created in 1815 by King Ferdinand VII, grants prestigious recognition of services that have benefited Spain. Professor Geist received his Ph.D.
