In an article titled “An International Approach” Director of the Jackson School Leela Fernandes is quoted on the meaning of transnational feminism and explains how using “the ethnography method—extensive on-the-ground field research—informs her approach to both feminism and international studies with the perspective that a deep understanding of particular places and context are needed.”
