On November 2, 2017, the Latin America and Caribbean Studies program hosted a round-table conversation with renowned journalist, writer, anchor and executive producer of NPR’s Latino USA, Maria Hinojosa. For over 25 years, Ms. Hinojosa has helped tell America’s untold stories and brought to light unsung heroes in America and abroad. UW Students in careers such as journalism, law, soscial work, business and geography had the opportunity to hear from Ms. Hinojosa stories about her fascinating journey and exciting new projects.
