Jinlan Ni

Dr. Jinlan Ni is currently a faculty at University of Washing (Tacoma campus). She received her PhD in economics from Purdue University in 2004. Her primary research interests are Applied Microeconomics, Financial Economics and Environmental Economics. Her work has appeared in the Journal of International Money and Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of Comparative Economics, Energy Economics, Energy Policy and China Economic Review etc. Prior to joining UW, she was a professor of economics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In her professional service, she was the President of the Chinese Economists Society (CES, 2013-14), CES regent chair (2015) and is the founding director of CES China office. She is currently the co-editor-in-chief of the China Economic Journal.
