The University of Washington has one of the biggest and most esteemed East Asian based faculties in the U.S.A. The East Asia Center is committed to helping faculty members foster professional development through sponsoring academic conferences and providing funding for courses, travel, and research.

The East Asia Center also offers a number of resources for K-12, K-16 and Community College educators. Along with the East Asia Research Center we are committed to making sure teachers of all levels have the information, resources and support they need to teach students about aspects of East Asia.
