Academic Programs
Study Abroad
The University of Washington’s relationships with other universities internationally have given way to multiple study abroad opportunities with some of the most prestigious schools. Students interested in studying abroad may pursue an exchange program, where they can spend anywhere from a quarter to an entire year abroad. Exploration seminars may be of interest to students who would like to study abroad, but for roughly one month during the summer.
As soon as students determine a program of interest, they are strongly encouraged to speak with an academic adviser to understand how study abroad may fulfill degree requirements and impact their graduation. The UW also offers a number of study abroad related scholarships for both undergraduates and graduate students. A complete listing can be found on the UW Study Abroad’s “Scholarships” page.
