South Asian Studies at the University of Washington has a long history and great depth in research and teaching about this important region of the world, which includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Afghanistan. Our faculty teach about, conduct research, and facilitate student engagement in all the countries of South Asia.
