Mary Callahan, an associate professor at the Jackson School, shares her first-hand accounts on the unfolding civil war in Myanmar in these April 12 interviews with NPR “Professor Discusses What Might Be To Come In Myanmar” and BBC News Hour (interview begins at 45:00 minutes).

On April 16, Callahan featured as one of three panelists for the BBC in “The Real Story: Why is Myanmar’s Military Killing Civilians?” and was quoted in an April 15 Nikkei Asia article “Myanmar junta taps Russian air power to bomb ethnic rebels.”
