The EU Center hosted its annual graduate workshop on the the EU April 29 – 31. The event was attended by 13 PhD students with fields ranging from anthropology to political science, and represented several different schools including the University of Washington, University of Oregon, University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Emory University, University of Pittsburgh, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Students were able to give a presentation on their research, receive feedback from a faculty discussant, and take questions from the other graduate students in a much more in-depth form than that of a conference. Professors Jim Caporaso, Cliff Carrubba, and Joe Jupille served as discussants.
