The ACCEPT Association defends LGBT+ rights a national level and works to change the mentality around LGBT+ identities in Romania. This organization organizes Bucharest Pride festival, lobbies on LGBT+ legislation, anti-discrimination, and education for these rights and identities, spreads information regarding this topic, and works with grass roots movements.

The eq aequo network represents LGBT+ members and supporters ages 16-30. This group works with LGBT+ youth to support them and educate society. This network has LGBT+ youth centers across the country that organizes social events and commradery, organizes education sessions about LGBT+ youth at schools and hosts annual events.
