What will become of European integration? How does the process of negotiations within the European Council work? The European Union has faced many challenges over the past few years ranging from a financial crisis to a refugee crisis. Today European leaders also face the changing priorities of their constituents and new political opponents. How will the changing divisions of power and interests affect the EU?
This course is a practicum focused on the current, real-world policy issues and internal negotiations of the European Union, as well as the theory of public policy and the politics surrounding policy formation.
