The Eurochannel Short Films Tour returns to the screens across the globe for its ninth edition with a special defining theme: togetherness! Embark on an unforgettable cinematic journey with the greatest examples of new European filmmaking.
Over the last decade, the Eurochannel Short Films Tour has been a successful Eurochannel trademark. A unique event, this one-of-a-kind program invites viewers to follow the most gifted directors on an exciting exploration of Europe through the art of the short film. With these filmmakers as guides, viewers discover fascinating stories, culture and entertainment through the eyes of a director. Nearly every European country takes part in this edition of the Eurochannel Short Films Tour ― with each film, broadcast in its original language and subtitled in English, serves as an example of the creativity and dynamism of modern European cinema.
In this Ninth Eurochannel Short Films Tour, every program will present different aspects of togetherness: people whose purpose is to begin a new life, and others who represent help or an obstacle; people living in a reversed world; love connections that are difficult to maintain; two individuals who are always stronger together; teenagers encountering adulthood for the first time, through different characters and friends.
This year, we will be screening films with the theme, “A Fresh Start,” featuring films from Cyprus, France, Estonia, and Switzerland.
