Following President Trump’s accusations that Beijing is stealing U.S. jobs and manipulating Chinese currency, professor of international studies and China expert David Bachman gives an interview with KOMO radio on latest tensions between China-U.S. relations.
He asserts: “A number of preliminary steps have been taken by the White House to suggest the issue of trade is not going away. Chinese President Xi Jinping was trying to preempt some of the issues proposed in the first 100 days to get things in order before the United States starts imposing policies on China.”
