All Jackson School majors & graduate students are eligible to participate in our annual mentor program. Attendance at one of the following program orientation sessions is mandatory to participate in the 2022-2023 program. RSVP is required for the Zoom sessions, but not for the in-person sessions. Seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis for the in-person sessions.

Resume and Cover letter are critical for the success of your career search, as they help you make great first impression for the employers. In these weekly Tuesday labs, you will be able to ask any questions you may have about your resume and cover letter, get tips and advice on how to improve your documents, spend time to create or improve your documents, and more! You can drop by anytime and no appointment is necessary.

JSIS Alumni Career Panel (VIRTUAL): Meet the recent Jackson School alumni and learn how they navigated and built their career paths from college to career. There will be 4-5 alumni in each session, who are eager to share their insights and wisdom. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Launching Your Career (Virtual Group Advising Session):
Thinking of getting started on your career/internship search but not sure where and how to get started? Come join us in the virtual group advising sessions on every Friday during the quarter, between 1:00-2:00pm. In these live interactive sessions, you will be able to explore your career options and launch your career in a safe and engaging environment by:
– Getting your career related questions answered by a Career Services Director
– Listening to other students’ questions and learning from the answers provided
– Working on brief individual and group exercises to launch your career/internship search
– Sharing resources with one another and supporting your fellow colleagues
