This year, three students were selected for a Donald C. and Margery S. Hellmann Scholarship.
Unique to the Jackson School, this annual award provides a $5,000 stipend to support the education and training of a Jackson School undergraduate major with demonstrated excellence in international studies, clear interest in a career in international affairs, and with a strong and creative commitment to promoting the international public good.
We recently asked them a few questions about their journey while at the UW and Jackson School, from how the award will support their research and learning pursuits to how they decided to major at the Jackson School, favorite classes, advice to prospective students interested in becoming a Jackson School major and more.
