In 2015, the JSIS GRG team provided a cybersecurity analysis and overview of Africa’s Sub-Saharan region to Microsoft. The researchers were able to assess the region’s cybersecurity landscape and market needs by completing four country and region-specific assessments of telecommunications development, business environment, and security policy of the respective countries. The report identified key risks and policy recommendations, as well as provided table and graph based data-sections for efficient reference.
