In a recent Global Policy editorial, he wrote: “Is there a way to see fossil fuels having a positive global role in today’s world, given the context of climate change? This doesn’t mean embracing them as blessings or benefits as in the past, far from it. But rather, can they be cast both as the core of the climate problem and a key element in the solution?”
