In this podcast, Lauren from the Jackson School of the University of Washington spoke to Sheema Fatima and Bhargabi Das. Sheema obtained her Ph.D. from the School of Development Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, and she is currently a post-doctoral fellow at University College of London. She has done research on urban Patna, which has been barely engaged within the academia and has very limited sources of secondary data. Bhargabi is doing her Ph.D. in Anthropology at the National University of Ireland. She has conducted fieldwork in Assam and has faced issues related to patchwork ethnography, familial politics, and the right-wing state.
