April 13 & 14: Jackson School Director to speak in D.C. & New York City on “U.S. and the Changing Middle East”

Coming up in April, Middle East expert Reşat Kasaba, Stanley D. Golub Chair in International Studies and Director of the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, will be speaking in New York and Washington D.C. on the U.S. and the changing Middle East.

A leading scholar on the economic and social history of the modern Middle East, Kasaba will explore the causes behind turmoil in the Middle East and possible paths for U.S. foreign policy.

Alumni will have the opportunity to meet and greet Director Kasaba at a special reception prior to the start of each of the lectures, to be held on April 13 (D.C.) and April 14 (New York City).
