The European Union Center in the Jackson School of International Studies has been featured in an article in The Daily, the University of Washington newspaper, for being one of only five centers in the United States to be awarded a prestigious three-year Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence grant from the European Union Commission.
Ashley Miller, Managing Director of the center is quoted calling attention to the timeliness of studying Europe, considering that current discourse in both the United States and Europe are emphasizing questions about identity, and U.S.-Europe relations.
