Diplomas
Three to four months after you graduate, your official diploma will be sent to the permanent address on record in MyUW at the time of graduation. The name on the diploma will appear as it does on the MyUW Web site. To change your address or the spelling/appearance of your name on your diploma, refer to the information on the Office of the Registrar’s website.
Directions and Parking
The JSIS Convocation Ceremony (June 10) is separate from the University Commencement. Campus parking might be unavailable on June 10, we recommend arriving by public transportation.
Please allow sufficient additional time for parking and walking (where necessary) – traffic can be very congested on the day of graduation events. Graduating students must be seated by 8:45 am, but to legislate for registration, we recommend arriving by 8:15 am. For more information on parking, please visit UW Transportation Services.
Disability Accommodations
The University of Washington is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities. To request disability accommodations for a graduating student or guest, let us know when you register online or inform the Office of Academic Services when you register and specify the type of disability accommodation needed.
COVID-19 Update and Requirements
Currently, verification of vaccination status or proof of a recent negative test for COVID-19 is not required for entry into Husky Union Building. Wearing a mask is strongly recommended. Please stay home if you are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19. Please remember that people need to or choose to wear — or not wear — masks for a wide range of reasons. Thank you for respecting those needs and choices.
Requirements may change as we approach Commencement, so please check back frequently.
