Departmental scholarships are now available for Jackson School undergraduate and graduate students pursuing academics and internships in international studies!

Scholarship awards range from $1,000 – $5,000. More information on eligibility and award details can be found here: https://jsis.washington.edu/advise/funding/jackson-school-scholarships/

Eligible students are invited to build their applications and submit them online at: https://jsis.washington.edu/advise/funding/apply/

General Guidelines:

  • For academic scholarships awards, students must be full-time enrolled for the duration of the award period, including concurrent enrollment through the UW Study Abroad office if studying abroad.
  • For both academic and internship scholarship awards, resident, non-resident and international students may apply (please check the scholarships page for full information on eligibility criteria and exceptions)
  • Scholarship applications require the submission of a 1-2 page written statement, unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended, one letter of recommendation, and for academic scholarships, financial aid status (submit a PDF file of the document at MyUW / Student Personal Services / Financial Aid Status)
  • For internship scholarships, both graduate and undergraduate students may apply.

The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31st, 2017.
