Alumna pens article in Foreign Affairs on India-Pakistan relations

Although Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised hopes for improved ties with a surprise visit to Lahore in December, the risk of more bloodshed between India and Pakistan remains frighteningly high, alumna Hannah Haegeland’s asserts in her article “Facing Armageddon in South Asia” in Foreign Affairs.

Hannah received a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship in Urdu and a master’s degree in South Asia Studies from the Jackson School of International Studies.
