Although Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised hopes for improved ties with a surprise visit to Lahore in December, the risk of more bloodshed between India and Pakistan remains frighteningly high, alumna Hannah Haegeland’s asserts in her article “Facing Armageddon in South Asia” in Foreign Affairs.
Hannah Haegeland received her M.A. in South Asia Studies in 2015. She has a B.A. in History & English-Literature from Concordia College—Moorhead.
