Advancing ICTs in India and South Africa

Research Report

In 2013, a research team of Jackson School students completed a survey and analysis of information and communication technology (ICT) growth in India and South Africa for Microsoft’s Trustworthy Computing Group. Following their analysis of policy landscapes and geopolitical climate, the research team utilized diverse language expertise characteristic of the Jackson School to complete region-specific briefings for the Microsoft team. The report recommended potential policy directives for future private-public partnerships in global internet governance.
