The Ellison Center of Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies funds interdisciplinary research, graduate students, international exchange programs, and other exciting initiatives to advance historical understanding, innovative teaching, and public awareness about this crucial region of the world.
The Anthony Titus Ellison Endowment for Russian Studies
Supports fellowships to graduate students in the history, politics, economy or culture of Russia and the Soviet Union.
H. Stewart Parker Endowed Fellowship
A fund to support graduate student travel to Slavic-speaking countries.
Ilsa D. Cirtautas Student Fund in Central Asia Studies
To support both undergraduate and graduate students studying Central Asia in any program across campus, and UW students who have lived or studied in Central Asia, with vernal support for research, travel, conference fees, and other expenses.
Imre Boba Endowed Fund in East European Studies
To benefit students and faculty working in Eastern European Studies. A Jackson School of International Studies fund.
Vladimir Gross Memorial Endowed Fund
For support of undergraduates studying Russian language and/or for language study abroad in Russia.
