The Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies
The EARC is housed within the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. The EARC cosponsors teacher professional development events with other outreach centers at the Jackson School, including the annual Newspapers in Education series “Exploring Asia.” The JSIS centers post all upcoming teacher events on the JSIS K-14 Educators Events Calendar.
Our partnership with the East Asia Center
The EARC works especially closely with the East Asia Center, a federally funded and designated National Resource Center, which is also housed in the Jackson School. The East Asia Center serves as a comprehensive center to advance the knowledge of China, Japan, and Korea through undergraduate, graduate, and professional instructional programs, faculty research, the East Asia Library, as well as programs and events for the larger community.
