APPLICATION PROCEDURES

The application deadline for Autumn 2014 admission for most Jackson School master's programs was January 3, 2014.

SPECIAL NOTICE: The Japan Studies program, the Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies program, the South Asian Studies master's program and the Southeast Asian Studies program have re-opened application under a second deadline of March 12, 2014.

  • Begin On-Line Application to the Graduate School  https://www.grad.washington.edu/applForAdmiss/
  • Request Official Test Score Reports:
    • GRE; For most international applicants: TOEFL or IELTS
      (See Graduate School English Language Proficiency Requirements)
  • Designate Providers of Recommendations (3)
  • Complete and Submit:
  • Submit Unofficial Transcripts online
  • Submit Statement of Purpose
  • Submit Writing Sample
  • Submit Curriculum Vitae
  • Mail Official Transcripts to the Jackson School
