Robert Hunt is a Jackson School MA student in International Studies. Originally born in Korat, Thailand, he completed his undergraduate degree at Hawaii Pacific University. Following a career in the United States Army Special Forces where he served in a variety of tactical and operational positions as well as the Inter-agency, he enrolled at the University of Washington. He is an awardee of the Department of the Army General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award and the Office of Strategic Studies Society Peter Ortiz Award winner. His current research interests include Russia and Eastern Europe, hybrid threats, and the role of information operations in security. In his free time, Robert enjoys alpine sports, competitive marksmanship, and long course triathlons.
