Rhoda Justine Adeke is an attorney from Uganda where she practiced in various capacities both in the public and private sector. Rhoda clerked at the High Court of Uganda and also served in the Legal Department of the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity under the Office of the President. Rhoda had the benefit of being a part of the Uganda Judiciary’s legal aid project before moving on to corporate practice. Rhoda moved to the USA in 2018 and pursued a Masters in Sustainable International Development at the University of Washington School of Law. Rhoda was awarded a Barer Fellowship and is a class of 2021 graduate. Rhoda is passionate about social justice and is currently part of the leadership at a King County contracted organization that caters to the holistic needs of the homeless population and individuals in crisis occasioned by mental health or substance use with an aim of offering alternatives to jail or hospital.
